As well as two championship golf courses and Portugal's largest tennis facility, Vale do Lobo offers an immaculate football pitch ideal for any team preparations. In the main resort area there is also one of the most modern gyms in the Algarve, fitted out with the best and most up-to-date equipment and overlooking the beautiful gardens of Parque do Golfe. Bikes, stairmasters, rowing machines and treadmills are included in the aerobic equipment – all new models. All the usual weights machines are available, as well as equipment new to the market such as a 'Radiant' – a new type of complete body workout machine, the first to arrive in the Algarve – and a 'Power Plate' – a vibrating plate which provides resistance training by evenly distributing vibrations throughout the body, working out all parts of the body very effectively.

In total, more than 25 different sports are available at Vale do Lobo, including a variety of water sports which take place along the resort's two kilometres of private golden beach, such as sailing, wind-surfing, water-skiing and jet skiing.
