Ideally suited for GAA Gaelic football Camp training preparations of any level, this training centre was built from the start to serve the Euro 2004. It was considered by the organization as one of the competition´s Official Training Centres for participating teams to concentrate before and during the event. Everything was done according to the rules and regulations of UEFA.
This magnificent sports complex includes two superb natural grass pitches and a tartan track supported by modern changing rooms, press and meeting rooms, bar, heavy weights gym, conference room for 90 people and wireless point with access to internet. Location
Located in the central region of Portugal on the hillside of Serra do Bucaco, the whole area is surrounded by overwhelming vegetation and the remarkable national wood of Bucaco, which is the most diverse arboreous park of Europe.
The generous nature of the National forest of Buçaco is the natural involving area of this training centre. A hundred and five hectares of serenity under the comfort of secular trees, derived from all over the world, are the dome of a cathedral of the environment, providing plenitude, concentration, the creating strength of mind, the spontaneous ingredients to support the great sport results.
The quality of UEFA´s sport certification, corresponding to the traditional tourist certification, make this training centre a unique place in the national context.
By Car - From Lisbon, Coimbra, Oporto trough A (motorway) 2H30 hours from Lisbon, 1 hour from Oporto.
By Air - Pedras Rubras Airport, in Porto, one hour distant - Portela Airport, in Lisbon, two hours distant.
