The Rugby Training Camp at the Lagoa Sports Centre is the newest sports facility available in the Algarve for warm weather training camps. At a cost of 4 million Euros, it was opened in July 2009 by the Secretary of State for Sport.
This premier facility will provide a superior training site for years to come. Although the training centre does not have its own lodging, there are several hotel units near the sports centre experienced in hosting and catering for professional athletes.
Move Sports has Rugby Training Camp packages available combining the Lagoa Sports Complex with 3*, 4* and/or 5* hotels in the area.
LOCATION
The Sports Complex in Lagoa is located by being bounded on the north and east by the municipality of Silves, on the west by the municipality of Portimão and on the south by the Atlantic Ocean.
Lagoa enjoys excellent access roads and is separate by only 50kms distance to the Algarve main city, Faro, and to the International Airport.
