This rugby tournament for vets is for those men aged over 35 years in the twilight of their rugby career. So if your vets rugby team wants great hospitality, whilst enjoying the Portuguese sun with slightly competitive games then book a team for this exciting rugby tournament for veterans.
What could be better than participating in a rugby tournament for vets at one of Europe´s most beautiful destinations, Vilamoura, Algarve, with some of nicest beaches just a stroll away from your hotel. Plus, when the rugby finishes, the entertainment continues with the exciting night life of the Algarve.
The rugby tournament for vets is open to men's teams of age 35 and above. There will be two dispensations for player's under 35 but over 32. Each team is expected to play a minimum 20 minutes one way per game and play a minimum of 3 to 4 games. All the fixtures of this vets rugby tournament will be held at Vilamoura’s Rugby Club lush grass pitch and the competition format of the Algarve Veterans Rugby Tournament guarantees all teams competitive matches. Arrival day on Friday sees all teams getting together for welcome drinks. After the matches on Saturday the gala dinner party and trophies ceremony will take place at a restaurant close to the Vilamoura Marina. Thus, promising to make your experience at this Algarve Rugby Tournament a memorable one.
